- 100% thoroughbred GASGAS carbon frame design
- SRAM Eagle Powertrain eMTB system for premium performance
- New MXC model extends line-up of GASGAS bicycles
Hot on the heels of its longer-travel ECC race-focused sibling, the new MXC all-mountain eMTB is the latest addition to the GASGAS bicycle family. Super fun and super playful, the MXC is that ‘do-it-all’ bike that encourages you to have a go on every terrain.
We say the MXC is made to play. Whether that’s hitting jumps, smashing runs on rowdy single tracks, or simply chasing high alpine adventure – the bike will make every ride a blast.
Agile. Playful. A fun all-rounderThe MXC is a 160/140mm travel, full carbon frame chassis with 29”/27.5” mullet wheel sizing. A 100% thoroughbred GASGAS bike, the geometry focuses on ensuring playful and agile handling. Progressive geometry numbers mean a slack head angle, short chain stay, and comfortable reach, which are all matched with vivid suspension kinematics. This delivers a lively and responsive ride feel that enables quick directional changes and surefooted handling when riding over ever-changing terrain.
The addition of a size specific rear triangle ensures a more tailored feeling between model sizes. Built for durability, the MXC is equipped with oversized bearings. It also features additional top tube protection and a plastic skid plate to keep both the frame and motor protected, while allowing room for customization too.
SRAM Eagle PowertrainAt the heart of MXC beats the revolutionary SRAM Eagle Powertrain eMTB system. This power package leads the way in eMTB technology with 90Nm of torque, 680W peak power, two support levels plus auto-shift and coast functions. Super-quiet, it creates a truly natural peddling experience. Combined with the 630Wh battery plus an AXS Bridge Display mounted in the top tube, SRAM have developed a truly holistic, high performing eMTB system. With the optional 250Wh Range Extender, you can plan those all-day adventures with confidence.
DVO powered by WPThe MXC 6 and MXC 5 sport the latest in suspension tech from DVO powered by WP. The collaboration between the two suspension experts sees WP’s cone valve technology housed into DVO’s trusted hardware. The cone valve acts like a blow-off valve on hard impacts and braking bumps. This allows you to ride higher in the stroke of both the fork and shock thanks to the added damping generated. The result is a safer, more comfortable ride feel that reduces rider fatigue and hand numbness, and improves rider confidence, on long descents.
A bike to suit all needsThe MXC is available in three different models - MXC 6, MXC 5 and MXC 4. All three share the same carbon frame, geometry, and kinematics, plus 29”/27.5” wheel sizing. The holistic SRAM Eagle Powertrain Drive Unit with 630Wh battery is fitted on all MXC models. The MXC 6 and MXC 5 use the DVO powered by WP suspension with a 160mm travel and 38mm diameter front fork, plus a 140mm rear air shock. The MXC 4 is paired with a RockShox 160mm Lyrik Select+ front fork and Deluxe Select+ rear shock.
